ERLOG 2023-09-10

The below can be used to save the settings to a file or load them from a file. Useful if you want to transfer the settings between devices or feel better editing the settings by hand. Settings are stored as a cookie in your browser.
The below is a unique name for your settings. If you update your settings on one device, all other devices with the same name should be updated. This is done by checking if the stored cookie has an update date later than your current cookie. If you change the name, then the update date will be set to 0 so that an attempt will be made to load the latest data from the database.

The below can be used to set a colour for each user's name, overriding the automatically generated colours. Saved colours are displayed in order of priority. Notify allows you to receive push notifications for replies mentioning that name.

02:25:31 Devastator: a MR/RWD car with a relatively potent engine has like four or five possible major issues with turning.
02:31:32 Devastator: These sports cars want to be somewhat comfortable, which means they don't want to swing about with insane oversteer, or have brutally stiff suspensions.
02:31:40 Devastator: it means that you shouldn't put in a too-powerful engine.

02:35:26 Devastator: There's also a lot of localized peaks when doing fine tuning, so you never really are sure if you've hit the best spot. LIke you can balance it nearly the same, but with slightly different combinations, and some of these peaks can be a lot better than others.
02:36:40 Devastator: There's also issues because of how sensitive sports cars are, and if you're checking for some different feature, it might flip the oversteer/understeer line again, giving you a big drop for something that would improve the car overall.
