ERLOG 2020-03-10

The below can be used to save the settings to a file or load them from a file. Useful if you want to transfer the settings between devices or feel better editing the settings by hand. Settings are stored as a cookie in your browser.
The below is a unique name for your settings. If you update your settings on one device, all other devices with the same name should be updated. This is done by checking if the stored cookie has an update date later than your current cookie. If you change the name, then the update date will be set to 0 so that an attempt will be made to load the latest data from the database.
Cookie last updated: 2025-04-06 04:33:47
Pushing the button below will register your browser and cookie ID so that you will receive push notifications. This happens automatically when loading the page, it is merely left here as a debug tool.
The below can be used to set an offset in minutes to alter the displayed timestamp. So, for example, someone in CST (which is UTC-6) will use an offset of -6*60=-360. Autodetect should find your offset automatically using javascript.
Check the below if you want the logs to attempt to render links in a pretty manner
The below can be used to set a colour for each user's name, overriding the automatically generated colours. Saved colours are displayed in order of priority. Notify allows you to receive push notifications for replies mentioning that name.

00:12:48 Devastator: 'lo
00:13:02 Devastator: mining town where the metal ran out, eh?
00:13:17 Piecewise: pretty much
00:14:00 Devastator: well, should do 'em something.
00:14:20 Devastator: hrm, maybe a magic spyglass.
00:16:38 Devastator: nah, one of those special compasses..
00:17:43 Devastator: dip compass.
00:18:28 Devastator: should be able to summon a magnetized bit of steel, and should be able to thaum-convert a bit of another metal into a spell for that metal through alchemy, and combine the two to make a metal-seeking dip compass.
00:24:25 Devastator: yeah, that would do it. Could convert metal samples into spells for it, and make the compasses, and then use the alchemized spells to make them metal-seeking compasses.
00:24:40 Devastator: which should let them find a place for a new town, if anyone wishes.
00:27:14 Devastator: that seem viable?

02:30:12 Piecewise: Hmm I mean you might be able to do it with less effort than that
04:41:40 Devastator: oh?
04:42:27 Devastator: like how, Piecewise?
05:02:53 Piecewise: Depends on if you want to use Sy or ER
05:15:42 Piecewise: Basically, as long as you had any metal word...or magnet word..or things like that you could just slap a homing spell on a compas
05:15:45 Piecewise: s

05:33:18 Devastator: well, I have steel, but you don't normally find that in the dirt.

05:45:34 Devastator: and also am seperated from sy's and ER's characters.
06:05:18 Devastator: Also, syv, Saeko should be able to armour that suit by summoning up steel plates to attach to it.

07:36:08 Devastator: Hi.
07:36:21 Devastator: I'll update Sh sometime tonight.
08:18:42 Devastator: It might not have been the best idea to not tell this guy you killed the assassin.
08:18:49 Devastator: because now he's worried about crossing a not-dead assassin.
08:24:17 Devastator: posted.

23:48:40 Devastator: mmm
23:56:43 Devastator: As for banishing someone inside the core room, there might be a second layer of the magic proofing stuff.
23:56:56 Devastator: so you banish someone, and the spell just kinda goes splatter.
