01:44:17 Egan: like, I don't hate it, but some of its design choices feel not quite right
01:44:53 Egan: such as the ability to easily enough save up an unlimited amount of money between runs which you can access from random bank terminals
01:45:28 Egan: which is the only "meta progression", if you have more money than you need you can go deposit it and grab it later if you need
01:49:41 Egan: for the first few floors the enemies are imps who when they see you run straight towards you as an easy target but they do move faster than you can, snakes which just hide immobile in tall grass and bite you if you don't see them, and turrets which also don't move, shoot at you constantly, and only die if you shoot their electrical box
01:50:04 Egan: and the turrets are by far the hardest to deal with since you have to be really accurate to actually hit them
01:50:21 Egan: but also you can just back off and take it at your own pace, slowly peek out
01:50:50 Egan: and gradually there are more difficult versions of the imp and turret, but they all follow that same kinda rule
01:51:08 Egan: melee creatures are easy to hit, turrets are hard to hit but can't chase you
01:54:43 Egan: but sometimes it's hard to snipe the turrets so you have to run out there and risk actually getting in a fight
01:55:18 Egan: and then in the later levels there are little crawling and flying turrets which are a pain because they can both shoot and follow you
01:55:43 Egan: but at least the tiny hitbox you gotta shoot is always in a consistent spot, right under the gun part
01:56:26 Egan: and then the game has a bunch of items you can find, but only hold one at a time or two if you find a backpack, in which case only one can be active at a time
01:57:09 Egan: and many of these items seem questionable in use, but it's fine I guess because it throws so many at you that I dunno if you could actually use them all
