07:33:50 Egan: decreasing design quality from perfect adds negative stats to the platonic gun, increasing level of rarity adds positive stats AND negative stats
07:34:46 Egan: so if the gun's just poorly designed, you have downsides which could have been avoided, while if it's more a niche design then you get tradeoffs
