05:10:54 Devastator: I was making a replacement for my ultralight fibreglass car, mostly for amusement's sake, and I picked a coupe model with a tiny, tiny, mid-engine bay, changing up the motor I wanted quite a bit.
05:12:27 Devastator: It takes a lot of time and tuning to get the car together, it's tricky tuning those ultralight cars, because you gain a ton of points if you use heavy addons like power steering, but if you tune it just right, you don't need stuff like that, and the resulting weight savings pay off later.
05:12:52 Devastator: so think a lot of work to get the last 3% of points, and I end up tweaking a lot about how the engine performs.
05:13:45 Devastator: ..anyway, after that I decide to make a turbo varient of that engine for a normal sports car with a real engine bay, do so, basically slam engine tweaks together making it more normal and balancing the turbo out right, picking a car model..
05:14:22 Devastator: when I get to the end I see unexpectedly high scores, with penalties to sports cars (who give a coupe model bonus) and Family Sports, who want sedans, and I have a penalty to that.
05:14:37 Devastator: ..so I look up what the hell I clicked on, and accidnetly picked the hatchback model of that particular year of car.
05:15:30 Devastator: I then look at the absurdly high 'fun premium' score, and check the turning, and realize I've hit a vehicle that is completely stable steering up to the top speed of 170 km/hr.
