06:03:12 MidJag: But yeah, the idea is that you would essentially have a way to easily make soap using the same tech as like beer or whatever, which would then allow for an easier time of providing soap to developing nations.

06:38:33 MidJag: Hmm, so after a fair bit of searching, I finnaly found a species that seems to do a form of sapnoificaiton...and it's Clostdrium prefinges, the thing that creates gangrene. So clearlly you can't just use the regular bacteria and overepxress a gene.
