07:24:23 syv: The slide attack gives a slight horizontal speedboost, which is based off both weapon swing speed and sprint speed.

07:25:21 syv: It was nerfed awhile ago, but it used to get a *huge* boost from weapon swing speed, and with properly built dual zorens (dual-wielded axes with the highest swing speed in the game) on a fast frame, you could travel several hundred feet in about a second with one slide attack.

07:27:28 syv: It still works, it's just not as strong. Which is good, since you can now build dual zorens to have a faster attack rate than many machine guns.
